Australia's Red Kangaroo, the world's largest marsupial, is celebrated in this unique bullion coin series. Known for its agility and speeds nearing 50kph, the kangaroo is an emblem of Australia, rooted in the Guugu Yimithirr word 'gangurru'. They inhabit diverse terrains from arid interiors to lush bushland.
The coin design features two kangaroos: one basking in sunlight, the other poised to leap, set against a backdrop of their natural habitat with a Xanthorrhoea australis (grass tree). It includes the inscription 'KANGAROO', The Perth Mint’s 'P' mintmark, the 2025 date, and details of weight and purity.
The obverse showcases the Dan Thorne effigy of King Charles III.
